The Brain / Capabilities / Document grounding
RECALLYour contract, read at decision time,
not typed-in rules.
Rules rot when the agreement is amended, so WorkElate Chief, the Brain, reads the statement of work, terms and policy as it decides.
Same request, two clients, two right answers
Client A: one more page, yes
A retainer with forty percent of the monthly allowance unused, read on this turn. The page is inside what was paid.
Client B: one more page, change note
Fixed scope, with a clause requiring written approval outside the deliverable list. Same sentence, different contract, opposite action.
Both quote the clause, one waits
A citation pointing at nothing is stripped before anyone sees it. Sending the change note stops for a person’s click.
The case against a rules engine
No branch decides a business outcome
Nothing reads the client name and picks an answer. Reasoning over retrieved text serves the cases nobody enumerated.
The opposite-answers pair is a test
Stored evaluation cases include matched pairs where the same event must produce different outcomes. A rules engine fails one half.
Claims are checked against the data
After a write the Brain checks the record landed, and what it tells you is compared to what the systems returned.
Three honest limits
It is not legal advice.
It cannot use a document you never gave it.
Where two clauses contradict, it says so.
