100 to 1,400 clicks a day. Sixteen months.
Organic search for a SaaS platform, straight from the client's own Google Search Console: daily clicks from about 100 to peaks of about 1,400, with an average position of 12.2.
What moved.
- 256Korganic clicks over the sixteen months.
- 12.8Mimpressions in Google search.
- 14×daily clicks, from about 100 to peaks of about 1,400.
- 12.2average position across the whole window. Most rankings were on page two, and it still grew.
All four numbers are from one engagement, as Search Console reports them. A second SaaS site, run with the same method, is at the foot of this page.
Rankings earned. Clicks parked on page two.
Most clicks go to the top three results. A site can rank for a thousand keywords and still not grow, because its rankings sit at positions 4 to 20, where almost nobody clicks.
That is not solved by publishing more. It is a foundations problem, and the cheapest growth a mature site has.
| What you see | Direct cause | Deeper cause, the one that brings it back |
|---|---|---|
| Keywords stuck at positions 11 to 20 | The page answers the query only partly, and few internal links point at it. | Trusted sites link to the home page, not to the pages that earn money. |
| Two pages trading one keyword | Duplicate pages for one intent: due dates, calculators, addresses. | No page has one clear job, so Google splits the signal and neither wins. |
| High impressions, low click-through | Titles and descriptions that do not carry the offer. | The proof that sells (price, speed, credentials) lives on the page, not in the result. |
| Blog traffic that never converts | Topics picked by search volume. | Posts do not feed a service page, so traffic arrives and leaves. |
| A monthly report with no explanation | Numbers without the action behind them. | Nobody links what changed on the site to what moved in search. |
Every problem gets two answers. Fixing only the first is why the same problem is back six months later.
Fix the foundations. Then grow on top.
New content on a site Google half understands compounds slowly. The same content on a clean site compounds fast.
- Weeks 1 to 2
Diagnose
Page by page: indexing, duplicates, internal links, schema, backlinks and an AI-answer baseline. Working, not working and why, agreed with your team.
- Weeks 3 to 4
Fix
Duplicates merged behind 301s, one keyword owner per page, titles rewritten to carry the proof, links pointed at the pages that earn.
- Month 2
Structure
A schema framework: organization, product, pricing, FAQ, how-to and article, with the same facts stated the same way everywhere.
- Month 3 on
Grow
Page-two keywords first, because they are closest to paying. Content in clusters that feed one service page. Links earned, never bought in spikes.
Three businesses we read differently.
Deadline and seasonal demand
When the year's demand lands in a few weeks, month on month is noise. We compare year on year, and build before the peak so you enter it already ranking.
Commodity products near the price floor
When the product is the same everywhere, search is where share is won: one price stated once, trust in the result itself, and an answer for every question the leader answers and you do not.
A network of sites and an in-house team
We own the sites we are given, and write every tactic that works as a playbook with the return it produced, so your team can run it across the rest of the portfolio.
Every Monday: what moved, and why.
Four questions in every report: what is working, what is not, why, and what we do next.
| Layer | What we measure |
|---|---|
| Site health | Issues closed, pages indexed, duplicates removed, schema coverage. |
| Search visibility | Positions, impressions, click-through rate, organic clicks. |
| AI visibility | AI Visibility Score, share of voice, AI Overview mentions. |
| Business results | Sign-ups, completed purchases and revenue from organic and AI traffic. |
We do not promise rankings. We commit to the work, and show every week what it moved.
A second SaaS site, three times over in three months.
A separate engagement, also under NDA: 5,589 organic clicks in its first three months, with daily clicks rising from about 35 to peaks of about 100.
